Data Virtuality has been named in the honorable mention section of the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools.

Gartner Magic Quadrant

Gartner Magic Quadrants offer visual snapshots, in-depth analyses and actionable advice that provide insight into a market’s direction, maturity and participants. Magic Quadrants compare vendors based on Gartner’s standard criteria and methodology. Each report comes with a Magic Quadrant graphic that depicts a market using a two-dimensional matrix that evaluates vendors based on their Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute.[1]

We are honored that Data Virtuality has been recognized in the ‘honorable mentions’ section of the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools alongside other top Data Integration vendors from the market.

Some significant trends that are highlighted by the report include the fact that “Support for hybrid and intercloud data management is now critical…”. According to Gartner, “… nearly half of data management implementations consist of both on-premise and cloud environments.”. It is therefore important to have a hybrid data management integration and support. So, data integration tools need to be able to facilitate data uploading into the cloud and the exchange of data between different storage systems.

In addition, Gartner also notes that “… while team sizes are reducing, the amount of data and, hence, the number of data integration requirements, are growing exponentially.”. The Gartner report highlights some of the trends that are appearing as a result, like the fact that “Data fabric is critical and driven by the end-user push toward augmented data integration…” and the fact that “Data mesh starts gaining traction…”.

So, we believe, based on the trends highlighted in the Gartner report, that there is a need for a solution which

  • reduces data integration efforts
  • helps to plug the gaps of the cloud platforms with different data management capabilities
  • gives data professionals the ability to easily and flexibly manage this data in order to generate insights in the shortest amount of time
  • enables organizations to flexibly implement new concepts such as data fabric and data mesh

Through our two products, the Data Virtuality Platform and Pipes, we allow companies to do just that.

The Data Virtuality Platform

The Data Virtuality Platform combines data virtualization with ETL/ELT giving businesses the opportunity to use their data to its full potential. Our flexible platform brings together different integration methods and is a reliable enabler and accelerator for modern data architectures.

Some common use cases include real-time data access, hybrid- and multi-cloud architecture, enabling data fabric and data mesh, creating a logical data warehouse, data governance, and creating a self-service semantic layer.

Data Virtuality Pipes

Pipes is a simplified version of our Data Virtuality Platform and is a data loading tool with more than 200 connectors that you can use to easily manage your data across data sources, data storages and analysis tools.

You also have the option of building your own custom data pipelines with Pipes Professional, the best-in-class SQL editor.

How can Data Virtuality help your company?

We’ve worked together with enterprises around the world to lower the costs associated with their data integration initiatives, increase the productivity of their data teams, and reduce time-to-market. And we can do the same for your organization.
